And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:
Note 4 at Lk. 22:17: This is not the cup which Jesus said was His blood of the new testament which He shared with His disciples later during this same meal (Mt. 26:27-28; Mk. 14:23-25; Lk. 22:20).
