Luke 22:30
Previous Verse
Luke 22:30
Next Verse

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Note 4 at Lk. 22:30: This same statement was made in Matthew 19:28 without any further explanation. There may be a future, literal fulfillment of this or it could also be symbolism. In Matthew 19:28, Jesus specifically mentions there being twelve thrones from which His disciples would judge the twelve tribes of Israel. Since Judas didn't follow Him in the regeneration (Mt. 19:28), there must be some degree of interpretation necessary.
