And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:

Note 1 at Lk. 22:31: Only Luke records Jesus saying that Satan had desired to have Peter that he might sift him as wheat. This is basically the same thing that happened to Job in the Old Testament (Job 1:8,12).
