Luke 22:69
Previous Verse
Luke 22:69
Next Verse

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Note 5 at Lk. 22:69: Jesus confessed that He was the Christ, which was referring to His deity, and was therefore condemned by the Sanhedrin for blasphemy (see note 8 at Mk. 14:62, p. 458). He immediately follows this with a statement about the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven, which is a clear reference to His humanity (see note 3 at Mt. 9:6, p. 88). Jesus was clearly referring to His physical resurrection and return--not just His Spirit going to the Father.
