Luke 23:34
Next Verse

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Note 1 at Lk. 23:34: Only Luke records this instance where Jesus asked the Father to forgive those who were crucifying Him. This is the most supreme example of love that the world has ever seen and we are commanded to follow Jesus' example (Eph. 4:32). Stephen exhibited this same love (Acts 7:60) and so can we.
