Luke 24:4
Previous Verse
Luke 24:4
Next Verse

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

Note 1 at Lk. 24:4: The only reason we get perplexed is because we don't have God's perspective on things. When these women heard the news that Jesus was resurrected and remembered that He had told them that would happen, then their perplexity was gone and great joy filled their hearts.

Likewise, when we quit going by what we see and gain God's perspective of the situation through believing His Word, our confusion dissipates and joy and peace take its place.

Note 2 at Lk. 24:4: Luke records that there were two angels. Matthew and Mark only mention the one who did the talking.
