And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Note 8 at Lu 24:27: This was the first time that Jesus had ever opened the Scriptures and taught His disciples the prophecies concerning His death and resurrection (see note 1 at Joh 20:9).
