And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Note 11 at Lk. 24:31: Once we see Jesus through the revelation of His Word and communion with Him, we don't have to have a visible manifestation of His presence. Our faith is our evidence (Heb. 11:1) and obtains for us a greater blessing than believing because of a visible proof.
