Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
Note 3 at Lk. 24:39: Here Jesus gives a very important commentary on His resurrected body. It was a spiritual body (1 Cor. 15:44) but it was not just spirit. This was not an apparition; Jesus had flesh and bones, yet He could enter a room without going through the doors and He could vanish instantly (Lk. 24:31).
We also see in this instance that Jesus ate physical food; broiled fish and a honeycomb (v. 42). Our resurrected bodies will be like His (1 Jn. 3:1-2).
