Note 10 at Mr 7:21: These verses (Mr 7:21-23) further establish the fact that our hearts include more than just our spirits (see note 3 at Mt 12:34). Even Christians still struggle with things like pride and foolishness, which Jesus said come out of our hearts (Mr 7:22). It's certain that our born-again spirits are not the source of these sins; therefore, our hearts encompass more than our spirits.
