Mark 8:22
Next Verse

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

Note 1 at Mk. 8:22: This was the fourth of seven blind men specifically mentioned in scripture that Jesus gave sight to. The first was in Matthew 12:22-23; the second and third in Matthew 9:27-31; the fourth in this verse; the fifth in John 9:1-41; and the sixth and seventh in Matthew 20:29-34; Mark 10:46-52; and Luke 18:35-43. There are three other references where many blind people are spoken of as being healed. They are Matthew 11:4-6 with Luke 7:2 (same instance), Matthew 15:30-31, and Matthew 21:14. Among all of these instances, only the first instance (Mt. 12:22-23) is stated as being caused by a demon.
