And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.
Note 4 at Mk. 9:10: This was the fifth time that Jesus had spoken of His death and resurrection (see note 1 at Mt. 16:21, p. 202), and yet His inner circle of disciples had not yet understood what He meant.
