Note 6 at Mr 11:9: This was a possible fulfillment of Jesus' prophecy in Lu 13:35 (see note 6 at that verse) and a direct fulfillment of Ps 118:26-27. Notice in Ps 118:27, after the praise of the people that is reported here during Jesus' triumphant entry, that the psalmist said, "Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar." This is exactly what happened with Jesus, the Lamb of God (Joh 1:29), a few days later when He was crucified for the sins of the world.
