Note 28 at Mk. 13:32: This verse makes it abundantly clear that no one knows the exact time of Jesus' return. This same passage of scripture reveals that we can know the season (vv. 28-29) but not the day nor the hour.

Some people have tried to interpret this verse as saying we can't intuitively know the day nor hour but we can learn what day the Lord's return will be through study. That type of thinking completely changes the meaning of Jesus' words. He meant just what He said. Regardless of how much we study in this life, we will never learn anything that our Lord Himself doesn't know. If the angels, and even our Lord, don't know the exact time, then neither can we.
