Mark 14:21
Previous Verse
Mark 14:21
Next Verse

The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

Note 2 at Mk. 14:21: A person who might question the outcome of Judas' actions (see note 2 at Lk. 22:3, p. 411) should have his questions answered by this verse. Judas did not find a place of forgiveness, but was eternally separated from God. That's why he is called the son of perdition (Jn. 17:12), which means the son of destruction.
