Previous Verse
Mark 16:7
Next Verse

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Note 4 at Mk. 16:7: It is interesting that this angel did not include Peter among the disciples but mentioned him separately. There is no explanation given. Either Peter was no longer Jesus' disciple because of his three denials, or maybe Peter himself, as well as others, no longer perceived him to be a disciple, and therefore the Lord made special mention of him for the purpose of reassurance.
