Note 4 at Mr 16:7: It is interesting that this angel did not include Peter among the disciples but mentioned him separately. No explanation was given. Either Peter was no longer Jesus' disciple because of his three denials or maybe Peter himself, as well as others, no longer perceived him to be a disciple. Therefore, the Lord made special mention of him for the purpose of reassurance.
