Mark 16:9
Previous Verse
Mark 16:9
Next Verse

Now when [Jesus] was risen early the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Note 1 at Mr 16:9: Even in the way that Jesus revealed His resurrection, He operated differently than what most of us would have done. Instead of appearing to some of the important people who had mocked Him, such as Pilate, Herod, or the chief priests, Jesus chose to reveal Himself to Mary Magdalene, a woman who had been demon possessed but had been delivered through His ministry.

There is no record in Scripture that Jesus appeared to anyone after His resurrection except those who had already believed on Him before His crucifixion.
