And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Note 58 at Mt. 7:25: The rains, floods, and the wind came against both houses exactly the same. The difference was not the storm, but rather the foundation. Everyone, even Christians, will have problems come their way (Acts 14:22; 2 Tim. 3:12), but those who are rooted and grounded in doing the Word of God will stand.
