Note 2 at Mt. 10:9: In verses 9 and 10, Jesus is simply stating that those who go to preach the gospel should not have to provide their own support but should "live of the gospel" (1 Cor. 9:14). Likewise, Jesus says in verse 11, His ministers should not feel they have to move from house to house so that they won't be a burden on any one household. They should find a suitable place to stay and remain there until they leave town.
