And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.
Note 3 at Mt 14:8: This doesn't mean that before she danced, she was instructed of Herodias to ask for John's head. Mr 6:24 shows that she asked instructions of her mother after Herod's oath. Matthew was simply saying that she received instructions from Herodias before she returned an answer to Herod.
