Note 9 at Mt. 18:24: In MPE (modern purchasing equivalent), this would represent the enormous sum of 3 billion, 600 million dollars if these were talents of silver. If they were talents of gold, it would be about 60 times as much. (See Supplements section--Money, p. S10)
