Previous Verse
Matthew 21:22
Next Verse

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Note 2 at Mt 21:22: Does this verse mean that we can pray for wisdom to commit the perfect bank robbery and not get caught, or ask for someone else's mate in prayer and receive that? Certainly not! (See note 49 at Mt 7:7.) Faith can only appropriate what God has already provided by His grace.
