Matthew 26:62
Previous Verse
Matthew 26:62
Next Verse

And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what [is it which] these witness against thee?

Note 4 at Mt. 26:62: By comparing Matthew's and Mark's account with that of John (Jn. 18:20-21), we can see that Jesus did say some things to the high priest but His statements didn't really answer any questions. Jesus said that He had already publicly stated who He was and that they should ask those who had heard Him.
