For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

Note 4 at Phil. 2:21: There may have been many things that made Timotheus "likeminded" with Paul, but the thing that Paul mentions is that Timotheus was not self-seeking. That was one of Paul's dominant traits and the main trait that made Timotheus a faithful messenger that Paul could totally trust.
