Note 8 at Rom. 8:35: Neither people nor things external can separate us from the love of Christ. The only way for a believer to be exempted from the love of Christ is to deny his faith in Christ (see note 5 at Acts 5:5, p. 595; see note 4 at Acts 12:23, p. 646).
