Audio commentary on this verse

Note 13 at Rom. 12:18: This verse is advocating living peaceably with all men. Yet, the very wording reveals that this is not always possible. We are not responsible for other people's actions. We must pursue peace, even when we are not at fault, but the other person does have a choice. Be sure that you are at peace with all men. Whether or not they are at peace with you is their decision.
