For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Note 4 at Rom. 14:2: This verse is speaking of the Gentile Christian who didn't have any convictions about eating certain meats and the Jewish Christian who would only eat herbs for fear of breaking an Old Testament dietary law (see note 2 at v. 1, p._837).
