For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Note 10 at Ro 14:11: Paul was citing this Old Testament verse to show that each one of us is accountable to God (Ro 14:12). Therefore, we don't have to judge our brethren; God will do it.
