Romans 15:16
Previous Verse
Romans 15:16
Next Verse

That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Note 1 at Rom. 15:16: We cannot just worship God however we want to. Our worship has to be sanctified by the Holy Ghost. Until a person makes Jesus his Lord, the Holy Spirit does not intercede for him. Paul is saying that through his preaching of the gospel and the Gentiles reception of salvation, then the Holy Spirit was free to work on their behalf.
