Romans 15:24
Previous Verse
Romans 15:24
Next Verse

Whensoever I take my journey into Spain, I will come to you: for I trust to see you in my journey, and to be brought on my way thitherward by you, if first I be somewhat filled with your [company].

Note 3 at Rom. 15:24: Paul mentions his intentions to travel to Spain twice in this chapter (this verse and v. 28). These are the only two times in scripture that this is mentioned. There is no scriptural account that Paul ever made it to Spain. Some have speculated that Paul went to Spain after his imprisonment in Rome. There are traditions that support that but no fact.

Note 4 at Rom. 15:24: Paul is referring to the Romans helping him with his expenses for his planned trip to Spain. This is also what this terminology means in the scriptures listed in ref. "d" at this verse.
