The next step after the initial born-again experience is to become a disciple (learner and follower) of Jesus. Jesus never preached forgiveness of sins only. He brought men into relationship with the Father, and in ordered to do that, we must be cleansed from our sins. But forgiveness of our sins is not the goal. It's a means to the end. The goal is to be like Jesus. In this teaching, Andrew clearly outlines this goal and points the listener in the right direction to begin the maturing process.
