Jesus said that John the Baptist was the greatest man that ever lived. When John was having the worst time of his life, Jesus only ministered to him by referring him back to the Word of God. The Word of God is the highest way for God to speak to us. You can’t know God apart from His Word. Nothing supersedes the Word of God. If God’s Word is the most important thing in your life, you will always come through victorious.
