01/04/10 — "It is a type of cancer that has been called incurable…"
I really don’t know where to start. I had been diagnosed with cancer called leiomyosarcoma back in October 2001. It is a type of cancer that has been called incurable and just keeps coming back. It does not cause pain, so I never know when it returns, unless I have a CAT scan. I’ve undergone radiation and chemotherapy. I have had so many surgeries, I have actually lost count. I even lost my job as an RN Case Manager because I was in and out of the hospital so much.
I discovered you on the internet, and it really changed my life. I found that you were doing a Gospel Truth Seminar in Raleigh. I was determined to go and have you pray with me. You taught about Jesus taking not only our sins but also our diseases and all health problems—so much so that He didn’t even look human. I had never thought about it like that. Well, you prayed for me, and not only did you pray in agreement that I would be healed, but you also had a word from God about emotional problems that I was holding on to. You prayed about that too. It was an awesome time for me.
After coming home, I just knew that things were changing. I couldn’t see any difference in my body and I didn’t feel any different, but I knew I was growing spiritually.
Well, today I went to see one of my surgeons and had a CAT scan. Praise God, he looked at it and said it was clear. He couldn’t see anything. I can’t remember the last time I had a good CAT scan, it’s been so long. I can’t stop thanking God. I just know that it all stems from what you said to me in Raleigh, that I didn’t have to beg and plead with God to heal me—I already had it. I had to appropriate God’s grace for myself.
