My mother suffered a massive stroke. She was totally paralyzed on her left side, and she could not eat, swallow, or even open her mouth. She couldn’t even recognize me. The doctors wanted me to sign her over to hospice. They would not perform any heroic gestures, and they discouraged placing her on a feeding tube. I called your Helpline for prayer. A few hours later my mother could once again recognize me. She could open her mouth and eat puréed food. She even regained some movement in her left side. I am believing God for her full recovery.
