04/02/11 — "As we are being discipled, we are now able to disciple thousands of lives daily…"
The two youngest students here at Charis Bible College-Uganda joined with me live on my radio fellowship program, and since last week, we have been enjoying ninety minutes of interactive music and live radio fellowship. Yesterday a man came to the station just as we were getting ready to leave. He said he wanted to “get to see these guys who are changing things in his life so rapidly.” He told us he gave his life to Christ a few months ago, and “this radio fellowship is the first real and practical Christian stuff” he has encountered. A lady listener sent a message saying how the live discussions are nourishing her faith walk. She said she was a Muslim all her life and only became a born-again Christian three years ago. Since then, she testifies that this is the first time she’s been “properly introduced” to what the Christian faith is all about. She’s come to love it, and she listens daily as we cover different areas of our eternal relationship with God. This illustrates how well discipleship works. As students of CBC-Uganda, we’ve undergone training for about eight months now. As we are being discipled, we are now able to minister and disciple thousands of lives daily. Once again, I thank God for you and your missionary team here in Uganda for their commitment to the course of the Gospel. It is through their commitment to the Lord and to us that we are now reaching and impacting thousands every morning on radio. Glory to God.
