05/28/10  —  "Last year, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes…"

I am contacting you with news of great joy. Last year, I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. I had studied previously and found that healing is in the Atonement—“by HIS STRIPES we are healed.” A dear and precious sister in the Lord gave me your tapes and told me to read the Gospel of Matthew. As I read, I discovered that our beloved Savior never turned ANYONE AWAY. And I remembered that Jesus is the same today as He was back then, that “as you have believed, so let it be done for you” (Matt. 8:13). I put off going to see a diabetes educator, and all the other stuff I would have gone through. I just believed in my heart of hearts that the Lord was able and willing to heal me. About three weeks ago, I had a blood test to check my sugars, and they were 5.2 (normal is between 5 and 8). The doctor said there is no sign of diabetes!

Praise Jesus’ beautiful and wonderful name I am healed. Jesus healed me!

I just wanted to thank you for your teaching and wonderful tape “Healing Scriptures.” They helped build up my faith. I began to realize our God and Father was willing to heal me. Again, thank you and God bless.
