06/22/12 — "I’ve been completely bedridden for six and a half years, due to failed back surgery…"
I want to thank you for your ministry and for your television broadcast archives online. I don’t receive your show in my area, so I would’ve missed out on SO much if I wasn’t able to watch online!
I’ve been completely bedridden for six and a half years, due to failed back surgery. I had a three-level lumbar fusion that not only failed; it left me in such severe pain, I couldn’t sit or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I experienced pain so severe that at times, I wondered how my body was able to survive it. I was on an ENORMOUS amount of pain medication, but it barely helped. I knew that my bed was not my destiny, and I knew that God was going to heal me. I just didn’t know when or how. Sometimes , while waiting to be healed, the discouragement was overwhelming.
A few weeks ago, a friend of my husband’s sent me an audio clip of Niki Ochenski’s testimony. Her story encouraged me, and then I went to your website. It was there that I found your television broadcast archives and watched God Wants You Well and the Christian First-Aid Kit. In between watching your videos, I bombarded my mind with scriptures.
Needless to say, my faith grew, and I was finally ready to receive my healing. Last Friday night, I was reading John 16:24 in the Amplified Bible. It said, “Up to this time you have not asked a (single) thing in My Name (as presenting all that I AM) [and here the Holy Spirit dropped in my mind, ‘All that I AM in YOU’];but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive” (brackets mine). Faith rose up in me, and I got up out of my bed. I ordered pain out of my body. I spoke wellness and life into my body, and I felt the power of God come over me like never before. I began speaking in tongues, shaking, crying, and laughing. It was wonderful, like being baptized in the Holy Spirit all over again!
Now, one week later, I am off all pain medication. My doctor told me it would take more than a year to taper off of it, but it took the Lord less than a week! I’m sure He could’ve done it instantly, but I had to grow my faith a little more for that. What matters is that He healed me completely and He delivered me from very powerful narcotics. Thank you for teaching the truth in such a simple way. Bless you and bless your ministry! It’s changed my life forever!
