07/12/10  —  "I experienced something real…"

My husband and I just returned from a Gospel Truth Seminar. I want to tell you the wonderful things the Lord did for me there. He showed me many times during the conference how much He loves me. That may sound like a cliché, but I experienced something real, something that went beyond an emotional experience from good praise and worship and good Bible teaching. I experienced the reality of God’s love. The Holy Spirit ministered to me for the entire three days. During the first night in the worship service, I saw streams of light shafts falling around me enveloping me in God’s presence. Fire flames were coming off the palms of my hands during worship. Each night after the meetings, I walked away stronger in His love. While there will be many reports of salvations, infillings of the Holy Spirit, and physical healings, my testimony is that I came and was refreshed and refilled with an awesome weekend in God’s presence and love.
