07/27/09  —  "I’ve never really laid my hands on a sick person to command healing before…"

Your series The Believer’s Authority was right on time for a miraculous healing of my grandmother. She had been complaining of an acute knee pain for the last three days. I’ve never really laid my hands on a sick person to command healing before, although I knew this is how every believer should operate. Last night when I went to meet my grandmother, I felt the Holy Spirit prodding me to lay my hands on her and rebuke that pain and declare healing. I really had to build up my faith. I kept hearing thoughts like, Do you think you are holy enough to heal people? You are not Jesus! I countered that thought with the unconditional love and amazing grace of Jesus. I felt impressed to minister the finished work of Jesus to elicit her faith and then pray. I laid my hands on her and spoke to that pain, rebuking it in Jesus’ name. After I prayed, she said the pain was still there. After about five minutes, I felt impressed to ask her again if there was pain. Praise God, she instantly sat up and told me the pain had vanished that very instant! Thank You, Jesus! Although I knew I had the power of God, I was so hesitant to use it until I heard your series, The Believer’s Authority.

I thank and praise Jesus for working through me. Also, I thank you for being used mightily of God to open my eyes to this wonderful truth that is within every believer. Now I am more than motivated to pray for instant healing and minister the unconditional love and amazing grace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
