09/13/12 — "I realized that I’d been antichrist, being hypocritical and deceitful…"
What has taken place in my life is something that I have to share, especially after today’s teaching how you, Andrew, encouraged people to share their testimonies. I started out listening to your teachings thinking that I was a mature Christian. I remember you even mentioning on television about being a mature Christian, and I instantly put myself in that category.
Then came the Hardness of Heart series. I had all of the symptoms of a hardened heart. To think that I was so good and yet have a hard heart! After reading a passage in the Bible, I realized that I’d been antichrist, being hypocritical and deceitful.
One morning, I called your Helpline, and a prayer minister asked me about receiving the Holy Spirit. I thought I had, but I decided to pray with him anyway. This time, there was no doubt that I received.
Being led by the Spirit has meaning for me now. I’ve been listening to The Believer’s Authority, and I’ve taken authority back from Satan in regards to my marriage. Almost instantly, my husband began seeking God.
Thank You, Jesus! Thank you, Andrew—I was starting to lose hope. Since I’ve come across you, I’ve been healed, set free, saved, empowered, and strengthened. Thank you for your Helpline and for filling it with godly people. God is good.
