09/23/10 — "But, praise God, my unbelief has now turned into belief…"
I am Scott’s mom from Healing Journeys, Vol. 2. After my son’s story aired, we received a Facebook message from a friend my husband and I had lost touch with. She watches you every morning with her husband and contacted us because she has had severe migraines since 1988 and been on full disability for ten years.
She wrote: “I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been prayed for, only for the pain to come back. So, I’ve been praying for my unbelief. When I saw Scott’s healing this morning, I believe God healed me! I have always known God would heal others, but I just never felt he would heal me. But, praise God, my unbelief has now turned into belief after seeing y’all.”
She later wrote: “I’ve not had a migraine since the day Scott’s testimony aired. This is the best I have felt in over twenty years! I wanted to tell everyone in church about my healing, but we had not yet discussed this with the pastor. After church, my husband and I were still at the altar, and he came over to talk to us. All I could do is cry, but I finally got it out. ‘I’ve Been Healed!’ After we all calmed down, he told me ‘You name the service and it’s yours to share this praise report. Our church needs to hear this!’ Needless to say, this has lit his fire. Our church members have been sort of complacent, and this is just what he’s been praying for. You could have heard him shout to Houston!”
