11/19/09 – “Nearly three years ago, I was given about six months to live . . .”

Nearly three years ago, I was given about six months to live. It was stage 3-c, cancer. The doctor’s prognosis was poor with or without chemotherapy. In fact, when I studied the chemo that was recommended, I realized that I would actually be better off without it. I refused chemotherapy.

Now, I knew what the Word of God said about my healing, that Jesus bore my sicknesses and carried my diseases and that by His stripes, I was healed. That is how I had lived the last twenty-five years of my life. But when the doctors, the tests, and my body were all saying the opposite, I was tempted to react in fear, and I was in fear. I had a couple of weeks of sheer panic. Nevertheless, sick as a dog and scared, I ran to God. I knew enough about Him to know that this was not from Him.

I had to make a no-backing-down decision that by the grace of God, I would live and not die and declare the Work’s of the Lord. I said that out loud to myself constantly. I also attended your healing service when you came to Framingham, MA, last summer. I cannot express how important this service was to my healing. After attending that service and having hands laid on me, the healing of my body really began to manifest in the flesh.

My healing has been an experience and an opportunity to better understand the faithfulness of God and that He Is The Answer. What Satan would have used for evil, the Lord has used for good.

All my tests results are outstanding. I am healed and made whole by the Word of God. Because of His faithfulness, I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord!
