Discover the Heart of God

We battle feelings of loneliness because we forget that our God is a relational God. He is always with us, through hard times and times of sin. In this family-friendly musical, you will see how David relied on his relationship with God and come away with a renewed understanding of your nearness to Him.

David was a man after God’s own heart. But he wasn’t perfect. David made mistakes and sinned; however, he never let that get between him and his Lord. David’s faith in God is why he is remembered to this day, and there is a great deal we can learn from his story.

Internationally recognized directors and producers Robert and Elizabeth Muren are bringing their musical production, David: The King of Jerusalem, back to Charis Bible College, April 8–10. Through David’s reflection, we see what it means to struggle and be flawed while still being a person after God’s heart.

Featuring amazing dance and song, breathtaking scenery, and world-class acting, this musical will inspire and encourage you in a powerful way.

Ticket prices:

  • Adults (ages 13+): $35
  • Children (ages 5–12): $20
  • Children (ages 0–4): free (while sitting on guardian’s lap)

Take some time to explore the Spring Market in the Banquet Hall during the weekend of the show. Local vendors and Charis students will have handcrafted items for sale. You’re sure to find something unique that you will love.
