Is there anything too difficult for God? Absolutely not! For years, Charis students and guests had to park in gravel lots a quarter mile away and ride shuttle buses to and from the Woodland Park campus—a challenge made even more difficult during freezing temperatures and blowing snow. Indoor parking was quickly becoming a true necessity.

As a result, we began construction on a 1,022-space parking garage in the summer of 2018 with the intent of building it debt-free. However, unforeseeable circumstances led us to take out a loan for over $28 million over a 120-month period—a significant financial commitment for the ministry. But God touched many hearts to go above and beyond their normal giving during that time.

Today, we are overjoyed to announce that the garage debt has been paid in full in only 30 months! Praise the Lord! This has spared the ministry nearly $6 million in interest payments alone, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of friends and partners like you!

In commemoration of this momentous occasion, we will be celebrating with a Debt-Free Celebration on December 3 at 1 p.m. at The Auditorium. We’ll have praise and worship, special messages from Andrew and Jamie Wommack, as well as our CEO and Vice Presidents, and conclude with a delicious cupcake reception in the concourse.

This event is free to attend, but we are asking that you pre-register by clicking the “Register Now” button at the top of this page.
