You might think it was easy for Jesus’ disciples to believe in Him—they saw Him with their own eyes. But surprisingly, seeing Him made it harder for them to perceive who He was. Philip even asked Jesus to show them the Father, not realizing that seeing Jesus was seeing the Father. The disciples were relying on their senses more than their spirits—and we can make the same mistake today.  

If you want to experience real transformation in your life, you can’t approach God through feelings or the flesh—you must approach Him in spirit and in truth.
