The company specializes in hospice and palliative care. Since 2002, two startups have been launched from core competencies of Solaris Healthcare, Inc., a durable medical equipment company and an institutional pharmaceutical company. Solaris Healthcare, Inc., has grown from operations in two cities to forty-seven today. During the 1990s, Paul started two other companies: one in employee leasing and another in aftermarket truck parts; both have been sold. Currently, he also serves as codirector of Charis Bible College’s Business School. Billy has been married to his wife, Becky, for over forty years. They have two children and four grandchildren. “I first heard of Andrew when my family and I moved to Denver in 1987. He was on the radio every day, and I would listen to him in my car. Then in the early 2000s, we met through Greg Fritz, who is a minister friend and regular guest speaker at Charis. “But I really became acquainted with Andrew and Jamie when Paul Milligan invited me in 2010 to come teach in the Business School. Paul then became the CEO in 2014 and invited me to assist in the Business School and ministry in much more involved way. “Since then, Becky and I have had the honor and privilege of getting to know Andrew and Jamie personally. I can say without hesitation, they are some of the most genuine, down-to-earth people I have ever met. It is refreshing to meet people with the success and impact that Andrew and Jamie have and still be real people. Andrew’s teaching on grace has had a great impact on our lives. I have no doubt that AWM is one of the most influential and effective ministries of this generation and will be for several generations to come.”
