Sanctity of Human Life Sunday

This is the first time in 50 years that we have been able to celebrate January 22nd without an egregiously decided Roe vs. Wade that manufactured a constitutional right to kill an unborn child. This is a major victory that many prayed for but doubted we would see in our lifetime. Yet, here we are, free from one of the worst decisions in the history of the Supreme Court that has taken over 63, 000,000 innocent lives.

We have much to celebrate, but we also have much to do. This battle isn’t over, it has just switched to ending abortions on a state-to-state level.

My friend Melissa Ohden survived a botched saline abortion and now leads The Abortion Survivor’s Network with hundreds of abortion survivors like her. She sent me a tribute her network did in honor of this milestone victory that I want to share with you. Please take a moment to watch this video and let’s render thanks to the Lord for the great things He has done.

There are many stories like Melissa’s. Her mission has been to offer support and resources to those who have survived an abortion attempt. They provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to share their stories, heal from their experiences, and advocate for the sanctity of human life. The education they provide to the public on the impact of abortion and the alternatives available to women facing unplanned pregnancies has been tremendous in this fight.

The Sanctity of Human Life Sunday is a time to reflect on the importance of protecting human life and to take action toward creating a culture of life. We need to stand up for the rights of the unborn, reaffirm our commitment to the sanctity of human life, and work towards creating a society where even the unborn are treated with dignity and compassion.
