Just as children need a home and parents, Christians need a place to be discipled and grow in faith.
Charis Bible College provides the perfect environment for people to receive guidance, develop their gifts and talents, and pursue their God-given purpose. We’ve seen incredible fruit since our Woodland Park campus opened in 2014—and as God raises up Charis to be one of the leading Bible colleges in the nation—the vision is only getting bigger.
Last summer, we broke ground on our next big endeavor: student housing. Meeting this need is a significant step toward creating a world-class experience for Charis students who attend our main campus. We are so excited, and there’s even more to come!
Imagine waking up in your furnished campus room and getting ready to go to class to learn about God, His love for you, and the power of grace and faith.
Afterward, you head over to relax in the new student lounge—a place we’re designing specifically to inspire community— to share the day’s teachings with new friends. Later on, you unwind with a little exercise and conversation at the school’s athletics center. But the benefits of our campus expansion plans don’t end there.
Anyone who’s attended our local conferences knows how difficult it can be to find lodging. We hope to lessen this problem by building a hotel and convention center on campus, making it easier for guests to visit and connect with other believers. Additionally, to enhance our stage productions and provide our Film and Production students with more opportunities to hone their skills, we plan on building an official performing arts theater too.
All this is just the beginning of what the Lord has planned for Charis.
And all these amazing features are only to enhance our mission. The greatest achievement will not be the building of new facilities, but rather the making of disciples who then go into all the world discipling others with the saving message of grace and faith.
