Highly Favored

When I was in Russia and ministering to the men’s and women’s drug rehab centers, the devil started lying to me and saying, “You’re not the one. You’re not qualified, and you don’t know enough—God could use someone better.”

Then the Lord began to minister to me on five things, and they really came alive as I hid the Word of God in my heart. I taught these five revelations everywhere I ministered in Russia because it’s so important for us to grasp these truths in our walk with the Lord.

I even learned how to say this one really long sentence in Russian—where I would speak those five things over them:

“Ты призван, ты благословен, ты помазан и любимчик Господа.”

(Pronunciation: Ty prizvan, ty blagosloven, ty pomazan i lyubimchik Gospoda.)

That was basically me saying, “You’re called, you’re blessed, you’re anointed, you’re highly favored of the Lord, and you’re deeply loved.”

When God looks at you, He sees you as called, He sees you as blessed, He sees you as anointed, He sees you highly favored of the Lord, and He sees that you are deeply loved.

1.   You’re called.
  • 1 Peter 2:4–5
  • 1 Peter 2:9
2.   You’re blessed.
  • Ephesians 1:3–4
  • Proverbs 10:6
3.   You’re anointed.
  • 1 John 2:20
  • Isaiah 60:1
4.   You’re highly favored of the Lord.
  • Psalm 5:12
  • 2 Peter 1:3
5.   You’re deeply loved.
  • John 3:16
  • John 17:23
  • Romans 8:35–39
  • The heartbeat of this teaching!
  • Because you are loved, you’re called, blessed, anointed, and highly favored.

When you look in the mirror of the Word, and it tells you these things you’re going to have to choose, “Am I going to see myself in the reflection of the Word?”

I’ll tell you right now, no matter what you’re doing or where you’re at, there’s somebody who can do it better. There’s somebody who has more experience, more degrees, more money, more charisma, or whatever. The voice of the enemy is always going to tell you, “You’re not enough.” He’s trying to drag you away from your gift and calling with this lie. His lies are like hooks that he’ll use to try and drag you away from your destiny.

If the devil tries to tell you, “You don’t have a destiny,” you just remind Him of who you are in Christ. “Wait a minute, God translated me from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. I’m telling you devil; I am called!

You might be saying, “Well, yes I have a calling, but I’m just out of joint, I’m just out of place right now.” But that’s not true! Right now, in this moment—right where you are, you’re called.

I just want to remind you and leave you with this truth—that you’re called, you’re blessed, you’re anointed, you’re highly favored, and you’re deeply loved right now! And you’re the only one who can come into agreement and say, “You know what, I am!” Even if you’re rejected by mankind, you’re chosen by God and you’re precious to Him.
